Quentin feels better about it anyway, having Raj's hand in his. He's had a fairly unpleasant experience of landing in strange realms of Faerie, and he knows Raj has as well. So far nothing is threatening them, but they're trapped. Trapped can't be good.
"Whoever it was, it looks like they left a long time ago." And that is worrying. Anoun had been similarly empty, and that was one of the deeper locked away realms. How would Toby ever find them there?
He continues walking, trudging through the snow. It's beautiful, really, lit by the moonlight above, pure pristine white interrupted by the shadows of trees spilling across the surface. By the time they get to the building though, he's eager to be out of the wind at least, even if it won't be all that much warmer until they get a fire going.
It's an old building, large and made of stone, windows mostly shuttered against the wind and the storm. It looks like it may have been a manor house of some kind once, but now it sits old and abandoned. Trying the first door he catches sight of, Quentin doesn't know if he should be surprised or not when it's unlocked.
