He takes Lio's hand, giving him that hand shake he wants. "Glad I met you too. Thanks for opening my eyes. I'll fix things." There's just a half smile on his face but it's something. Then it falls into something more serious as he says, "Now, let me see. Got to check you over again and fix the damage."
A little more bleeding won't kill Lio but he doesn't like healing to come undone. He could fuss at him for getting angry but he couldn't blame him. In the reverse he'd have been angry too. "You're lucky I'm all charged up from my nap."
