“Yeah.” He grasps Lio’s hand and squeezes it. “I don’t think they’re going to hatch any time soon but, I feel better just checking on them.” The more they check on their eggs the more it sinks in how real everything is.
Galo spreads his wings and when Lio flies for home he is right beside him. The cave has fully converted to a dragon cave in their absence. The vines part and fall back over the entrance when they enter. Crystals light up along the walls to shed more light as Galo turns to Lio and grins. It’s a wide and vast cave that shields the sleeping areas in walls of stone and curving tunnels.
