Lio stares at Galo like he's grown an extra head and maybe an odd number of horns. This... this idiot actually means it, does't he? His heart picks up its pace. Stop people from killing them. And that determination. And volume. He means it, and Lio finds himself feeling grateful for it, even if he's not sure what difference one man can make. It's still something.

Maybe Galo can't change the world, but it's nice to have someone not wanting all his kind dead simply for being what they are.
