[Bren was unaware of anything that would really keep them from passing a -- well, a day's -- sleep with Essek. And when he found out, he would probably protest. He was, after all, a werewolf and would be so easily dispatched by a sleepy vampire, even one as old and powerful as Essek. And more than that, well, Bren -- and Caleb too -- was utterly certain that Essek would never hurt them, even in unconscious reflex.

For now though, he simply nuzzled his way into Essek's cheek very happily, an affectionate puppy for all intents and purposes at the moment. He really would have to tell Essek soon of what he was, but he still had that fear of what it would mean. Could he bear if this man who was meant to be the other part of his soul looked at him with disgust or hatred at finding out that he'd been turned into a werewolf?]

Mm... I will just have to spend my evening in that absurdly luxurious bath thinking about you...
