[ Perhaps Bren would reprimand him after the fact but Essek did not have the heart to keep those bonds in place, and thus did Essek rest his palm first on one end of the rope secured around wrist and then he uttered the soft word that would free wrist, m'hrandii. He slowly watched as rope organically released his lover from their bond and then he touched the other.
He would've kept Bren tied and safe but also he knew that the werewolf would not be a threat to him. It was safe to allow him this freedom.
