Like this is the closest to when we merged minds into one. [He says as his hands slide up Lio’s chest. He lightly pinched a nipple, his other hand falling back to Lio’s hip.
They’re building back up again. His breath comes out hot and ragged.] But, my favorite part is you looking at me like that. So easy to see you know you’re loved.
[He hasn’t been subtle about falling in love with Lio. Even when he didn’t know that was what was happening.]
[It is the closest they can come to that moment, isn't it? Lio will never forget that moment. Meeting Galo Thymos changed his life, and even if at first he'd never expected the firefighter he'd let catch him to be everything that Galo is to him, he wouldn't have it any other way. Galo is always so much more than he seems at first glance. Lio is so glad he looked closer.
His voice catches at that pinch, back arching to push his chest towards the touch. He can feel they're rushing to that edge, distracted by the building pleasure, the crescendo of need. He almost misses what Galo has to say though.

[He breathes with a fierce light in his eyes. Lio opened up the world to him. He tore open the box he had been living in. He will forever be grateful to him for that and so much more.]
[Lio holds tightly to Galo's hands in turn, holding tightly as he drives his hips down to meet each rock of Galo's hips up. He's blushing now, and he'd properly fuss at Galo for saying such sweet, genuine things to him -- really, who can say those things so straightforward and honestly?
It's the kiss to his fingers that really undoes him. Damn it.]
My Galo... [He manages in a breathless moan, moving faster, driving his hips down with an almost frantic need, chasing that release. It's obvious when he finds the angle he's looking for; his entire body jolts and he rolls his hips harder.] Are you close?

[Words seem challenging, so Lio nods, fitful and distracted. But a shaky breath and he tries for words.] So close... so so close...
[He squeezes Galo's hands in his own, needing that connection, all of it. Like this, they're as close as they can be. And as much as he doesn't want it to end, Galo is right. He can't last anymore. The pressure and pleasure are building.
One final hard rock of his hips down and Lio arches against him, a soft, breathless gasp of Galo's name as he comes. He keeps moving on Galo even then, even as he rides out his orgasm, even as every nerve in his body feels oversensitive, determined to take Galo right over that edge with him.]
[The pace keeps speeding up as they chase the edge together. Galo squeezes Lio’s hands and gasps, uttering his name like it’s the only word he knows how to say.

[Please just let him soak up warmth somewhere for a while. He lifts his head to look at Galo.] I want to see as much of this world as we can. We saved it, right? We should get to know it better.
[Get the okay from the captain. Important things. Galo is way too responsible to go about it any other way. And really, Lio isn't any different for all that he may try to sometimes pretend he's above it all. He's also too responsible to leave a team high and dry.
But once they do get it squared away. It'll be nice, to slip away from everything with Galo, for just a little while.]
After I get settled in here though. [He has things to move, Galo. He's excited about it too.]
Yeah! We got to move your stuff in and enjoy living together first. [Galo grins. The blankets are draped over them to his satisfaction and he's exhausted.]
I'm tired. ...we should finally get some sleep. Had a long day.
[Ooh blankets. Good. Lio is a very content man right now, draped over his boyfriend, cuddled close, covered in blankets, warm and pleasantly sore and exhausted. A perfect night.
He leans up just enough to peck a quick kiss to Galo's lips.]
[Galo wakes up when the sun filters through the blinds. He turns his head away from it and turns, wrapping his body around Lio.
He has the vague sense that he should get up. Get clean. But it’s dismissed as he settles in to fall back asleep. Then his phone beeps twice. Galo lifts his head from the pillow.
Beep. Beep.
He grumbles. He swats the phone off the bedside table. The phone keeps beeping from the floor. He ignores it then as he tucks Lio against his chest.] Ignore it. Stay in bed.
[Lio snuggles in closer reflexively. No. Morning should stay far away and leave him his time here in bed with his boyfriend. He grumbles at the noise of the alarm and the beeping from Galo's phone that follows.
He nuzzles into Galo's chest to press a kiss there.]
Isn't that your phone? Is it important?
[God he wants it not to be. He wants to stay right here and let the moment drag on for a lazy morning in bed.]
It's not important. [He slides his fingers into Lio's hair. The softeness and the warmth of Lio is already starting to lull him back under. His phone stops beeping. Whoever tried to call him doesn't matter.
It's a day off and it wasn't one of the numbers he has noises programmed to that tell him it's urgent. The quiet settles back over them as he sighs.]
See? They'd call back if it was something needed. [More silence. Blissful silence. His other hand rubs Lio's back.]
